it all began
Mr Tillys was founded in Newcastle in 2016, but the roots were always on Wearside. Phil was born in Sunderland, and bringing the brand home was always part of the plan.
The shop sits inside Mackie's Corner, the Grade II listed landmark at the top of Bridge Street, and has been transformed top to bottom. Downstairs you'll find our chairs and the same relaxed, high end service our Newcastle clients know. Upstairs is our studio, a private space for VIP appointments and for teaching the next generation of barbers.
Everything you'd expect from Mr Tillys. A proper consultation, the right time set aside for every chair, a cold drink while you wait, and a finish you'll want to come back for.
